Step Down Transformers

The core function of a step down transformer is to convert high voltage, low current power into low voltage, high current power. The conversion process begins when the primary coil receives AC current or voltage. This creates a fluctuating magnetic field of voltage around the conductor, which activates the secondary conductor coil.
